With ARMOPEX, we are expanding our portfolio of district heating pipes to include a reinforced, flexible pipe system for modern local and district heating networks. This new, pre-insulated system has been specifically developed for medium-pressure applications and closes the gap between classic PEX pipes and cost-intensive metallic pipe systems.
ARMOPEX impresses with high pressure and temperature resistance of up to 115 °C and PN12 (12 bar) in accordance with TS 17889, as well as outstanding energy efficiency. The highly efficient PUR thermal insulation, featuring the world's lowest thermal conductivity of λ = 0.0199 W/mK, minimises heat loss and supports sustainable heating networks with low flow temperatures. Thanks to the aramid-reinforced PE-Xa inner pipe, robust outer casing and delivery in long coils, ARMOPEX offers maximum operational reliability, easy installation and a service life of over 50 years. This makes the system ideal for dynamic network structures, long pipe runs and the requirements of modern and future heating networks.
