As part of the modernization of the energy supply for Clinique Valmont in Glion-sur-Montreux, BRUGG Pipes implemented a new heat connection – under conditions where neither a truck nor a crane could reach the site.
The new air-source heat pump is located below the clinic building – the connection to the internal infrastructure required precise planning and sophisticated logistics. Since the terrain did not allow the use of heavy transport vehicles, the materials were delivered by helicopter.
FLEXWELL-FHK pipes with dimensions 147/220 were used. This flexible and mechanically extremely robust pipe solution enables optimal installation even under demanding conditions.
The project is a prime example of how BRUGG Pipes, with modern piping systems and innovative logistics, ensures a sustainable heat supply even in complex environments.
