For the construction of the new district heating network, BRUGG Pipes supplied and installed CASAFLEX UNO (127/202 mm) in DN 100. The project was carried out on Murhofstrasse in Pfaffnau – directly opposite the historic St. Urban Abbey.
The 270-meter-long pipeline was delivered on two oversized reel trailers. Special transports with permits and escort vehicles were required. In addition to the main pipeline, BRUGG Pipes also installed the connection fittings, heat-shrink sleeves, and other necessary components.
The biggest challenge was pulling the entire pipeline in one piece. Using the appropriate installation equipment and the decades of experience of the skilled assembly team, this demanding task was successfully completed in a single day.
