G. WEBINARS

Type of processing

We use the webinar solution of the GoToWebinar (LogMeIn) webinar software to conduct live webinars. The tool is precisely tailored to the needs of webinar organisation. It allows content to be communicated effectively to a large number of participants via the Internet and helps to maintain the quality of the webinars. After the webinar, we may make the presentation and further information available to participants via a download link.

A detailed list of the categories of data collected and processed by GoToWebinar, as well as the exact purpose of the processing in each case, can be found at https://www.goto.com/company/legal/privacy/us

GoToWebinar offers administrators the option of making extensive data protection settings. We configure the tool in such a way that only the personal data that is absolutely necessary for the webinar is processed and the data collected is protected in the best possible way. In this way, we enable the most data protection-friendly and secure use possible.

An acceptable level of data protection is guaranteed by means of end-to-end encryption enforced by the system. This limits the transfer of data to the service provider to the data provided by the user during registration and the metadata associated with participation in the seminar. Registered users are responsible for the data they disclose during registration. Pseudonymous use is generally possible. Further information on encryption technology can be found here. All webinars are recorded in order to make the content available to participants again afterwards. Audio and video functions are deactivated by default for all participants during the recording. The questions asked by online seminar participants are processed as part of the recording. The recordings do not contain any videos or images of the participants.

GoToWebinar (LogMeIn) is used on the basis of a legitimate interest in the practicable and user-friendly implementation of the webinar, including a good user experience for the purpose of client acquisition and external presentation of the company.

Recipient of the data

Personal data processed in connection with participation in webinars will not be passed on to third parties.

Recipients are also technical service providers for registration management as part of order processing. In the case of GoToWebinar (LogMeIn), this is LogMeIn, Inc, 333 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210 USA.

Third country transfer

Data processing of EU data in Switzerland cannot be ruled out. The EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision for Switzerland.

Processing also takes place in the USA. There are guarantees in the form of standard contractual clauses. The best possible guarantee of an approximately equal level of data protection as within the EU is achieved by technically restricting the transfer of data. The standard contractual clauses can be viewed under "ANNEX 1" here: https://logmeincdn.azureedge.net/legal/20191226/DPA/LMI-Customer-Data-Processing-Addendum-2019-v2-DE-SAMPLE.pdf.

Storage duration

Data is only collected by us as part of the respective live session. As a rule, recording does not take place or only takes place with the prior, separate consent of the participants. The system-side recording enabled via GoToWebinar is prevented for all participants. Registration data is deleted after the purpose has been fulfilled. This usually takes place after a maximum storage period of 12 months in our system.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. We can only offer the webinar if we can carry out the associated processing.

Objection

Please read the information on your right to object below.

Third country transfer:

As Google is headquartered in the USA, it cannot be ruled out that the data will be processed on Google servers in the USA. In order to protect your data even after transmission, we have concluded standard contractual clauses with the service provider.

Storage duration:

YouTube retains your personal data until you close your account. YouTube may also store certain data in anonymous form beyond this time.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only display the embedded videos if you give your consent.

Revocation of consent:

You can withdraw your consent for the future at any time in the cookie settings.

I. COOKIES

Fundamentals

A cookie is a small data record that is created when a website is visited and stored temporarily on the website user's system. USE OF TECHNICALLY NECESSARY COOKIES

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website require that the accessing browser can be identified even after a page change.

Technically necessary cookies help to make a website usable by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies . For these, it is necessary for the browser to be recognised even after a page change.

The processing is based on our legitimate interest in a user-friendly design of our website and in the documentation of consent.

You can obtain detailed information on the subject of cookies and which cookies are used on this website at any time by clicking on the icon (blue tick) at the bottom left of your web browser.

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without this data, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. In addition, individual services may not be available or may be restricted.

Our website also uses a consent manager to manage consent. This tool sets a technically necessary cookie to store your cookie consent. This is done on the basis of a legitimate interest.

The cookie stores the consent you gave when you entered the website. If you wish to withdraw this consent, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you re-enter/reload the website, you will be asked again for your cookie consent.

Web analysis tools can be used to evaluate the behaviour of visitors to the website and analyse their interests. We create a pseudonymised user profile for this purpose.

The provision of your data is voluntary, solely on the basis of your consent. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Type of processing

If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable us to analyse your use of our website and to draw conclusions about user behaviour on our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google uses this information on behalf of TIS to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

You can find more information on data processing by Google at the following link: policies.google.com/privacy.

The data is processed on the basis of the user's consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Storage duration

The data will be deleted as soon as you have withdrawn your consent or it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. The deletion takes place 14 months after the provision of the data.

Receiver

The recipient of your personal data is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

Third country transfer

Your personal data will be transmitted to Google in the USA. The processing takes place in the USA, for which an adequacy decision currently exists. Should this decision no longer apply in the future, the standard contractual clauses will apply in order to continue to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely on the basis of your consent. If you prevent access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

Profiling

With the help of the Google Analytics tracking tool, the behaviour of visitors to the website can be evaluated and their interests analysed. We create a pseudonymised user profile for this purpose.

Revocation of consent

You can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our website by clicking on this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device. This will prevent data collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future as long as the cookie remains stored in your browser.

You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

GOOGLE ADS

Type of processing

We use Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme of Google LLC. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Ads enables us to display adverts in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms into Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted adverts can be displayed based on the user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively by analysing, for example, which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.

Google Ads also uses web beacons, invisible graphics that enable Google to analyse clicks on this website, traffic on this website and similar information. As a result, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the website user's device.

The following information is stored in this file:

  • Which websites the user visits, what content they are interested in,
  • which offers the user has clicked on,
  • Furthermore, technical information about the browser and operating system,
  • referring websites,
  • Visiting hours,
  • Information on the use of the online offer.

We also receive an individual "conversion cookie". The information obtained with the help of the cookie is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only learn the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our advert and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. No data is collected that can be used to identify individual website visitors. User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store and process the user's name or email address, for example, but processes the relevant data in relation to cookies within pseudonymised user profiles. This means that, from Google's perspective, the adverts are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie owner, regardless of who this cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymisation.

The use of this service is based on your consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Recipient of the data:

Our website is maintained by service providers who act as our processors. All service providers are contractually obliged to treat your data confidentially.

Third country transfer:

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The processing takes place in the USA, for which an adequacy decision currently exists. Should this decision no longer apply in the future, the standard contractual clauses will apply in order to continue to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Storage duration:

Data will only be processed in this context as long as the corresponding consent has been given. Afterwards they will be deleted.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely on the basis of your consent. You will not suffer any disadvantages.  We cannot show you any adverts without your consent.

Revocation:

You can withdraw your consent at any time.

GOOGLE TAG MANAGER

Our website uses Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager is a solution that enables us to manage tags used for tracking and marketing via a single interface. It allows us to quickly deploy and update JavaScript and HTML tags on our website. The Google Tag Manager tool, which implements these tags , does not set any cookies or collect any personal data. Rather, it is only used to manage other services, such as Google Analytics. These services may themselves collect data.

Further information on this can be found on the following website: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

GOOGLE MARKETING PLATTFORM

Type of processing

Our website uses the services of the Google Marketing Platform (formerly "DoubleClick"), which are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This tool uses cookies to display adverts that are relevant to users, to improve marketing campaigns and to prevent a user from seeing the same advert more than once. For this purpose, Google uses a cookie ID to record which adverts have been displayed in which browser. In addition, Google can use the cookie ID to record so-called conversions, i.e. the fact that a website visitor visited our website after seeing a relevant advert. If you are logged into your Google account, Google can assign your visit to the relevant website to your user account. If you do not wish this to happen, please log out of your Google account beforehand.

Receiver

The recipient of your data is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Third country transfer

Your personal data will be transmitted to Google in the USA. The processing takes place in the USA, for which an adequacy decision currently exists. Should this decision no longer apply in the future, the standard contractual clauses will apply in order to continue to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.

META PIXEL

Type of processing

We use the so-called "meta pixel" from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta") within our online offer.

The pixel allows Meta to determine you as a visitor to our online offering as a target group for the display of adverts. The legal basis for this processing is your consent.

Recipient of the data

Each time you visit your profile, personal data, including your IP address, is transmitted to Meta. This personal data is usually stored by Meta in the USA. Our company does not contain any information from Facebook that could be used to identify the data subject.

Third country transfer

Meta processes your data in the USA. The processing takes place in the USA, for which an adequacy decision currently exists. Should this decision no longer apply in the future, the standard contractual clauses will apply in order to continue to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Storage duration

Your personal data will only be processed in this context until the purpose of the processing no longer applies or until you have withdrawn your consent.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely on the basis of your consent. You will not suffer any disadvantages if you do not give your consent.

Revocation

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. If you no longer wish your data to be collected by the Meta pixel and used to display Facebook ads, you can generally deactivate this by making the appropriate settings at accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences. Further information on this can be found in Meta's privacy policy at

LINKEDIN

Type of processing

We maintain a company profile on LinkedIn. This platform is operated by LinkedIn Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. We maintain this LinkedIn company page to inform users, interested parties and customers about our company. We provide information via our LinkedIn profile and offer users the opportunity to communicate with us.

We would also like to point out that, as the operator of a LinkedIn company profile, we are jointly responsible with LinkedIn for processing the personal data of site visitors. For this purpose, we have concluded a corresponding contract with LinkedIn on joint responsibility, in which the distribution of data protection obligations between us and LinkedIn is defined. You can access this contract here. In accordance with this contract, LinkedIn is primarily responsible for responding to data subject enquiries. To assert your data subject rights, you can contact online LinkedIn or via the contact details in the privacy policy. You can also contact LinkedIn's data protection officer.

You can also contact us in this context to exercise your rights as a data subject. To do so, it is sufficient for you to contact us using the contact form or by email with your request. In such a case, we will forward your enquiry to LinkedIn.

Your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest exists exclusively for marketing purposes such as better accessibility of target groups, increasing visibility, image building, user information and employer branding.

Recipient of the data

The recipient of your data in this context is LinkedIn. We cannot rule out the possibility that a transfer to a third country, e.g. to servers located in the USA, may take place when you visit our LinkedIn company website. Further information on the processing of your data by LinkedIn can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy.

Third country transfer

Please note that according to the LinkedIn Privacy Policy, personal data is also processed by LinkedIn in the USA or other third countries. According to its own information, LinkedIn only transfers personal data to countries for which an adequacy decision has been issued by the European Commission or on the basis of suitable guarantees, in particular standard contractual clauses.

Storage duration

LinkedIn retains your personal data until you close your account. LinkedIn may also store certain information (e.g. employer ratings) in anonymous form beyond this time.

Provision prescribed or required

The provision of your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, you cannot interact with us or our content on LinkedIn without providing your personal data.

Objection

Please read the information on your right to object below.

LinkedIn Insights

In addition, LinkedIn will process information about how you interact with our LinkedIn company page, e.g. whether you are a follower of our page.

This data is processed in anonymised form, in particular in the form of statistics. This gives us insights into the behaviour of people who are interested in our site (so-called Page Insights). With the Page Insights, LinkedIn only provides us with summarised Page Insights - i.e. it is not possible for us to use this information to draw conclusions about individual persons.

We have entered into a joint controller agreement with LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, which sets out the allocation of data protection obligations between us and LinkedIn. You can access this agreement here Joint Controller Addendum.

The analysis processes initiated may be based on different legal bases, which must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent).

FACEBOOK

Type of processing

We operate a company page on Facebook. The service provider is the American company Meta Platforms Inc. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland) is responsible for the European region.

As a user, you use the Facebook company page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the interactive functions (e.g. comment, share, like). Facebook processes personal data relating to your account, your IP address and the end devices you use. Cookies are also used for data collection. These are small data records that are stored on your end devices. Facebook describes which data it receives and how it is processed in its data usage guidelines.

Your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest exists exclusively for marketing purposes such as better accessibility of target groups, increasing visibility, image building, user information and employer branding.

Facebook's data usage guidelines also provide you with further information about the legal basis for data processing and how you can assert your rights as a data subject against Facebook.

Recipient of the data

The recipient of the data is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland).

Third country transfer

The parent company Meta Platforms Inc. is based in the USA, which means that a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Processing takes place in the USA, for which an adequacy decision currently exists. Should this decision no longer apply in the future, the standard contractual clauses will apply in order to continue to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Storage duration

Facebook does not conclusively and clearly state how Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook company page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook company page is passed on to third parties, and is therefore not known to us.

When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymised and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the "login notification" function); this may enable Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your end device. This enables Facebook to recognise that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. Based on this data, content or advertising can be customised and offered to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This will delete Facebook information that can be used to directly identify you. This allows you to use our Facebook company page without revealing your Facebook ID. When you access interactive functions on the page, a Facebook login screen appears. Once you have logged in, you will once again be recognisable to Facebook as a specific user. Alternatively, you can use a different browser than usual to visit our Facebook company page.

If you have a user account, you can still customise your advertising settings yourself. To do this, click on the following link and log in: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, you cannot interact with us or our content on Facebook without providing your personal data.

Objection

Please read the information on your right to object below.

Facebook Insights

Facebook processes a range of personal data of page visitors in its so-called Page Insights for its own purposes. The processing takes place regardless of whether page visitors are registered with Facebook or not and regardless of whether page visitors are members of the Facebook network.

Page Insights are summarised statistics that are created based on certain "events" that are logged by the Facebook servers when people interact with pages and the content associated with them. We ourselves do not have access to the personal data that is processed in the context of "events", but only to the summarised, anonymised Page Insights.

The analysis processes initiated may be based on different legal bases, which must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent)

Facebook provides more information on this at the following link: https://de-de.facebook.com/help/268680253165747 Facebook recognises joint responsibility and assumes primary responsibility, see:

YOUTUBE

Type of processing

We maintain a company profile on YouTube to provide videos. The operator is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "YouTube"). This is a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google"). When you access YouTube, a connection to the YouTube or Google servers is established. Depending on the settings, various data is transmitted (e.g. your IP address). If a YouTube video is started, the provider sets cookies that store your IP address and URL, for example.

If you are logged into your Google or YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. If you are not logged into a Google or YouTube account, less data will be stored. Nevertheless, Google stores data with a unique identifier that is linked to your device, browser or app.

Further information on the processing of your data by YouTube or Google and in particular on the storage period and your rights can be found in Google's privacy policy, which also applies to YouTube. Information on how you can change your privacy settings can be found here.

Third country transfer

Google is headquartered in the USA, so when using YouTube we cannot rule out the possibility that a third country transfer to servers located in the USA will take place when our company website is accessed. The processing takes place in the USA, for which an adequacy decision currently exists. Should this decision no longer apply in the future, the standard contractual clauses will apply in order to continue to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Storage duration

YouTube will retain your personal data until you close your account. YouTube may also store certain data beyond this point in an anonymous form.

Provision required or prescribed

The provision of your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, you cannot interact with us or our content on YouTube without providing your personal data.
