BRUGG Pipes worked with Eggenberger Ingenieure to implement a new heat pipe connection for the Sevelen power station. The project involved the planning and implementation of an efficient and durable connection – including a challenging stream crossing and several complex building entries.
FLEXWELL-FHK and PREMANT pipe systems in dimensions DN150 and DN200–150 were used. The installation took place over two working days in October 2025 and enabled the reliable connection of a school to the district heating network. The stream crossing was solved by pre-installed empty pipes into which the BRUGG Pipes conduits were pulled.
Thanks to close coordination between all project partners and the specific suitability of the pipe systems used, the sub-project was completed successfully and on schedule.
