Change in management at BRUGG Pipes Germany

We would like to inform you of an important change in management at BRUGG Pipes in Germany.

As of August 1, 2020, Samy Saab is the new CEO of BRUGG Rohrsysteme GmbH

On June 25, 2020, the Administrative Board of the BRUGG Group chose Samy Saab (42) as the new CEO of BRUGG Rohrsysteme GmbH, effective as of August 1, 2020. Since May 2017, he has been the Head of Sales of DHC in Germany and part of the management of BRUGG Rohrsysteme GmbH (Wunstorf) and BRUGG GERMAN Pipe GmbH (Nordhausen).

“I am very much looking forward to my new job,” says Samy Saab. “Together with my team, we aim to continue the positive growth trajectory of BRUGG Pipes as well as optimally position BRUGG as an innovative supplier of pipe systems.”
Samy Saab is 42 years old and lives with his wife and two children in Wunstorf, Germany. He started his new job at BRUGG on August 1, 2020.

Ralf Thiel, new CEO of BRUGG German Pipe GmbH as of August 1, 2020

On June 25, 2020, the Administrative Board of the BRUGG Group appointed Graduate Engineer Ralf Thiel as the new CEO of BRUGG German Pipe GmbH. He has been responsible for the Nordhausen site in Germany since August 2018. He also started his new job as CEO at BRUGG German Pipe on August 1, 2020.
Ralf Thiel, 57 years old and a Bremen native, is married with one child. He splits his time between Bremen and Nordhausen.
So he is real northern German.
That’s why his motto is: “Even when life gets stressful: Losing it doesn't help anyone. That’s why I keep calm (at least on the surface) and look at problems and challenges rationally instead of emotionally. Analysing the problem, working out a solution, tackling it and straightening everything out — it’s actually quite easy!”

On October 1, 2016, Stephan Peters took over management of the BRUGG Pipes Divi-sion as CEO and, as Managing Director, led both the Wunstorf and Nordhausen produc-tion sites. He is very pleased to hand over the sceptre of operational management to two experienced gentlemen. Stephan Peters will now devote more time to strategic issues and lay the groundwork for the challenging growth targets.

We wish both much luck and success in their new roles and thank you for your attention.

Best regards,
